✨This blog is especially important as 2021 winds down.
The way you leave 2021 will determine how you enter 2022.✨

If you have been in my community for a bit, you will notice that I have been having conversations around limiting beliefs and how they are responsible for where you are today!!!

Here are the 3 reasons for your self-limiting beliefs and what you need to get rid of them!

💕. Being “overly rational”  – we generally won’t spend a lot of time on something that we believe is doomed for failure right? Why would you even try to move up in life if you genuinely believed that you are not good enough, you will never find the time or there are too many barriers to beat?

💕. Your Childhood – During the first 7 or so years of life, we soak up everything we hear and our young brains believe it to be true. During these years we develop our most powerful, and often times most life-limiting, beliefs that can stick with us for the rest of our lives. Unfortunately, most influences especially in this digital age are negative and are primed to make us feel less than we really are, to keep us coming back for more.

💕. Societal influence – I like to think that most of the people in our spaces probably only wanted what’s best for us, but due to their own cultural and social hang-ups, they end up limiting us significantly. Their attempt to “protect” you often come off as criticisms, overbearingness, and excessive expectations, etc.

As a result, we all carry around numerous limiting beliefs. But in the words of Brian Tracy, “You begin to fly when you let go of self-limiting beliefs and allow your mind and aspirations to rise to greater heights.”

Join the conversation and find out how you can break free consistently from the beliefs that have held you down.

I go live on Thursdays to discuss various topics on how to become a high-performing woman executive in my private Facebook Group. Join me by clicking on the link
